Capture The Flag (CTF) is a cybersecurity competition designed to test participants' skills in both attacking and defending computer systems. In the "Attack and Defense" style of CTF, teams are pitted against each other in real-time: they need to defend their own infrastructure while actively trying to exploit the vulnerabilities of opponents.

In this format, teams can consist of up to 5 members. Each team is required to have a designated leader. The team leader is responsible for registering the team on the official competition site. Upon registration, the leader will receive detailed configuration settings and step-by-step instructions on how to participate. This ensures that each team has a clear understanding of the rules, setup procedures, and the objectives they need to achieve.

This year's CTF promises a unique twist, diverging from the traditional formats of previous years. Participants can expect new challenges and scenarios, making it an enticing opportunity for both seasoned competitors and newcomers alike.

Engaging in CTF competitions, especially the updated Attack and Defense style for 2023, provides participants with a realistic environment to hone their cybersecurity skills, learn from their peers, and demonstrate their prowess in both offensive and defensive strategies.
